PMA is committed to providing our members with the food safety tools you need to better safeguard your products, your consumers and your company – across the supply chain. This Food Safety Resource Center is designed to deliver those tools. Our efforts are guided by PMA’s volunteer leadership in several areas including food safety and supply chain efficiencies.

PMA explains the "why" and "how" of food safety, translating complex topics and delivering real-world solutions. We offer a variety of constructive and easy-to-access educational tools, to help you build your knowledge and integrate food safety into your business' culture.
Information
PMA provides hands-on experience and cutting edge food safety and technology information to our members using our staff experts and volunteer leaders through our Produce Safety, Science and Technology committee.
Advocacy
PMA collaboratively works with legislators and regulators to inform them about our industry and its particular food safety challenges, all to promote smarter governance. We also advocate for legislative solutions, provide input on regulatory proposals and respond to requests for industry information.
Outreach
PMA works with a variety of national and global organizations to advance our common food safety goals. These include retail and foodservice industry groups, standard setting bodies, public health organizations and food safety scientists. PMA's experts are also available to speak to your group about produce food safety.
