With one food holiday after another, floral departments will be challenged to keep their share of the grocery spend. September and October are times that people prepare the nest for the coming winter. Still just a little early for fall colors, these two months can benefit from a splash of tropical color.

A new link has been established to foster even closer ties with a leading country in the produce business, Chile. Produce Marketing Association recently created the first PMA Country Council in Chile to enhance the development of benefits and services to PMA members there.
The adage “You’re only as good as your weakest link” most certainly applies to the field of food safety. So if you rely on any partners or suppliers in your produce business, you need to be sure they’re as committed to food safety as you are.
